I used to do a lot of photo shoots. Mostly cars and events... about cars. I worked with various European magazines and my last work was with Super Street back in October 2006 issue.
It was fun while it lasted, but every good things do come to an end. We had to leave Japan and live in America. From then, the passion had faded away. I did not want to see it go, but America was much more competitive when it comes to photography. A lot of freelance had bargained themselves and was willing to work for free. I was not one of them.
In the past 4 years, my camera has kept itself quiet in a storage box, cold and helpless. I am now starting to feel bad. I think it's time to blow the dust off and start massaging its shutter button to excitement. I am just hoping it has not let itself get crusty and quit on me when I get back to its warm touch. I am away for five more weeks but when I get back it will be embrace with my presence and everything will be back to how it was. Of course, this will occur after I spent some time with my own family. But, nonetheless, we will shoot like it's 2006.
I miss you, my beloved Canon.
